Pre- Great Escape ( Miami and Texas)

2 MORE DAYS!! Until we are off to San Francisco!! I’m super excited to just get there because I have been waiting for this for the past 3 months. I havent quite got the hang of blogging, yet. So please bare with me.

The past few days we were in Florida, we did some serious shopping to make sure I was equipped to go around the world. We took a 4 hour long drive down to Key West, where we biked around town, watched a guy balance on a ladder while juggling fire balls, we ate some doughnuts and key lime pie,got chased by some pyscho pelican which nearly made me jump in the ocean, went ghost hunting, lost Jordan ( my cousin), went to a butterfly conservatory, and we also got robbed :P. Ohh…did I mention that we left my passport and some money in the safe in Miami, good thing I left them back or there would be no use of me writing this right now.

I hope that all our bad karma is gone..and that nothing terrible happens while we are in some foreign part of this world.

Just to let you know , no one was hurt, a man either had a key or picked the lock and came in while we were all asleep and stole all the money in the house, an Iphone and an Itouch. The scary part is my sister’s boyfriend (Chris) and Ben (my cousin) were sleeping on the floor, 1 foot away from all the stolen articles.

The ghost hunting was extremely creepy. I am still not sure if I believe it all or not but will admit it was kind of unexplainable. We had to take pictures at night and these white dots would appear in some pictures but not all…they are supposedly orbs, but I personally believe that they are dust bunnies but who knows. We went to this old building that was completely empty besides some old furniture and supposedly if you pressed your ear against the building you will hear singing, scratching, moving around and you can smell a match. I didn’t hear anything but everyone else heard it and smelt it, that building was a church years ago and the deacon believed his wife was having an affair, so he burnt the church down one day when his wife was teaching Sunday school.

The most odd story, was about a boy name Robert whose father bought a lady into American to be his nanny; after a while his mother believed his father was having an affair so she got the lady deported, before she left she gave Robert a doll and after she gave him the doll. He changed. He became a whole new human. Robert changed his name to “Gene” and named his doll “Robert”, whenever he used to do wrong he would blame the doll. Gene spent the rest of his life with Robert and his wife, besides the years he went to college. After Gene died. His wife rented the house out. They would go up to the tower where Robert ( the doll) stayed and the doll would be in different places every time they went up there, and they would hear noises coming from the tower. Robert was moved into a museum a few years later…as years passed the dolls hair turned grey and whenever people would visit Robert , they would say his expression would change. One day a man went into the museum and had heard stories about things Robert (the doll) had done, so he took pictures of everything besides Robert but when he went home …every picture was of Robert. Creepy huh?

I am presently in Texas. I went and watched Ben ( my cousin) do Krav Maga which is a type of Israeli fighting….it looked intense, and I just came back from a CVS and Target and bought my watch, so now I’m completely packed and ready for my blind date with the world.
